Copyright concern and takedown process

To report a copyright, related-rights, attribution, provenance, or publication concern, email takedown@wikimusic.org.

Please include:

• the exact WikiMusic.org URL and score title;
• the work, edition, arrangement, or material at issue;
• your relationship to the claimed rights holder;
• the jurisdiction and factual basis of the concern;
• supporting evidence when available; and
• a reliable way to contact you.

WikiMusic.org will preserve the notice and relevant provenance record, acknowledge credible reports, investigate promptly, and temporarily remove material when prudent during review. A final decision may restore, replace, correct, obtain permission for, or exclude the score.

Personal information in a notice is used to investigate and document the concern. Takedown records are normally retained for up to three years after the matter is closed, unless an ongoing dispute or legal obligation requires longer retention. See the Privacy page for details.

This process does not waive any rights or defenses and does not promise acceptance of unsupported or fraudulent claims.
